Posting pictures and about their day. YES i'm one of thooossseee people. Anyway, does anyone know where I can find my coupon? I don't have the email anymore. does that mean I LOST IT FOREVER?! :(

also, for those who wonder WHERE I WENT?! I'm all over my other account [info]ishbel going nuts. :) oh, and for those who don't know. we're having a little girl in november. :)

As many of you already know... [Monday
March 13th, 9:39am]

I've decided to return to [info]ishbel for personal stuff and leave this journal for work, travel and stuff like that. I start work at the beginning of next week. I have to refire (maybe, is that possible being pregnant?) and figure out how I'm going to manage working 14 hours a day.

So yes, I want y'all to come to the darkside and head to L_U, I will still post here, just not as frequent. Pictures of Italy, The Baby and of Work. will go on here and I'll complain about work on here too I'm sure, and tell you how things are going. This'll be more about our "trip" to Italy, and Last will be more about my life.

So yes, I'm pregnant. :D &yes, I can still go to work (Yay!) &um, yeah. ;P

the dark of night will swiftly fade... [Saturday
July 3rd, 4:33pm]
[ mood | cheerful ]
[ music | "You Are" Jimmy Wayne ]

AH! so I've gone on a few different types of rampages! I've downloaded a lot of country songs... gonna make a new CD (on Kenna's computer). Also updating my CD collection with some of the new CDs, Usher:Confessions.. uhm, and some other ones? Hoobastank:The Reason, Jessica Simpson:In This Skin, and there are some other ones I gotta do.... Avril & uhmmmmmmmm Frank Sinatra (did I spell that wrong?) Anyway, To add to this update.

I added a few new people from the [info]usmilitary , So welcome. I found you guys interesting, decided to add you. Hope you don't mind. :] If you do, just say so. I was going to leave comments, in fact I think I'll go back and do so! :)

Also, We watched Cold Mountain last night. It was an extremely good movie though. I did like it... The love story is what got to me, and the whole cute shyness of it all... it was sad though. :\ We Saw Dodgeball the night before last, it was pretty funny. It was a nice change from the rest of the movies we have seen lately. I still want to see Spiderman2 again. It just pumps me up, love it! & I still want to see The Notebook but I'm not sure when the chance will come.

No word from Sgt. Davis, so I'll give him a call again on Monday, if no word.. I will find my way into another recruiter's hands for the physical & ASVAB need to be completed (in my mind) BEFORE I leave for my trip to VA. I would like to have that under my belt before I'm off on a 200 mile bike ride, although it'd be awesome to do it after because I'd be wayyy in shape and healthy like but what can you do? I want it out of the way. So I can get my kitty to my father's before I leave too. Then when I come back from the trip to VA/DC.. My mom &I are going to go to a "getaway spa" thingie, I don't know.. I'm kind of excited, would be nice to get a bit of pampering with my momma.

Anyway, Rach comes into town tomorrow! woo hooo!! we're sooo partying it up cause it's the 4th... :) :) :) yay! A few shots or a few dances will be done for our boys over seas! I miss them! It's sad. No more fun tequila nights, or runs to Paris or Trantulas! :\ RAH! Oh well, they get back in September. Wonder if I'll be gone before they get back? interesting!

Anyway off to more downloading and what not!! (who knows maybe some studying?!)

God only knows how I've needed a friend [Wednesday
June 30th, 3:51am]
[ music | tuck away the thoughts in my head .... ]

who can see through the boldness & pride. Someone strong enough to put my faith in, someone willing to let me inside.

So, I think I'm going to start writing in here a lot more. Move on a bit, if you will. I love my other journal, & I will keep up with it, but I think updates & what not should be expected in here. This “docmentary” of my life is all my life, I suppose. No whining I suppose. No screaming. Just what I'm thinking. I guess. The aggravation can be in my other journal. The screaming can go in there as well. Anything I really can't share with the world, I think will go in there as well but everything else should be okay in here. & if I feel the need I always have my key to my locks.

Added some new icons. Changed things around a little bit. Might make the user info a little more "appealing" or atleast a little more organized & neat. Not so cluttered, but then again, clutter is me.

Heh, it's almost 4 & I can't sleep.

Maybe Movie reviews will also go in L_U. :)

[ mood | sore ]
[ music | "Down" : Blink182 ]

July 15, 2004
Our day starts at Norfolk National Airport to greet our guests who are arriving from New York, Georgia, Colorado, California, Oregon and Ohio

July 16, 2004

9:00 - Our day begins with breakfast at an area restaurant and getting to know one another.
1:30 - Group pictures are taken.
3:00 - Bike fittings at HDK cycles in Hampton. The local press is usually there to interview the riders.
6:30 - Dinner at Old Country Buffet. At this time, we go over the rules and paperwork of the ride.

July 17

7:30 - Our ride begins at the Hampton City Hall. Our Police Chief will attend. Local media will cover our take off.

Our ride will start at Hampton City Hall where we will leave at approximately 8:30 am down Armistead Avenue, with Hampton Police escorts to our first stop. Five miles to Parklawn cemetery where Stephanie McSweeney is buried. She is honored with flowers and prayers are said. Our stay there is about 15 minutes.

We continue our ride toward our destination for that day. Approximately 50 miles down Route 17 to Saluda, VA. Through each township, law enforcement will exchange escorts. We usually stop every 10 miles for a 10-minute break.

Once we arrive in Saluda, we stay at Christ Church School. The school has arranged for us to spend the night in the dorms.

July 18

Our day will begin about 7:00 am. Breakfast is served at the school. Tappahanock media talks to the riders. We leave the school about 8:00 am and head up Route 17 to Manassas, VA, a 75 mile ride.

Once we arrive in Manassas, we are escorted by law enforcement to Stacie Reed's Memorial at her high school, a butterfly garden in memory of Stacie. A small ceremony will take place. Again, local media will speak to the riders.

We stay at the Holiday Inn in Manassas and have a home cooked dinner at Manassas St. Thomas Church.

July 19

Our day will begin at 7:00 am with breakfast at the Holiday Inn. Police escorts are waiting for our trip to Crystal City, about a 45 mile trip.

We ride through the Mount Vernon Trail to Crystal City. Once we arrive in Crystal City, we stay at the Holiday Inn for the night.

7:00 pm - a banquet is served at the Holiday Inn. We have a certificate ceremony. Lots of good food. Hopefully, our Virginia Attorney General will be our guest speaker.

July 20

Our day will begin at 7:00 am with breakfast at the Holiday Inn. We are greeted by members of different organizations who escort us into Washington, D.C. We ride about 7 miles to our Capital steps, where we hold our rally. Guest speakers will attend and some dignitaries from all over the country will come out to speak or just support our efforts.

After the ride, we tour Washington and have a fun day.

6:30 pm - we will head back towards Hampton to our hotels.

July 21

A day of fun at Virginia Beach

July 22

Our guests will be taken to the airport according to their scheduled flights.

if you wanna know more about the bike ride or anything about it just go to PPP... it'll tell ya everything you need to know. and SARAH!! maybe we can hang out on the 21st?

“ Each of us has different talents,
Different dreams, and different destinations,
Yet we all have the power
to make a new tomorrow”

It's a lovely day today. It really is. I've had my cry from some thing I saw on the internet, about never forgetting about the blood of heroes. & what not. Got a quote out of it, not the one up there, that was the quote to start off my new life...

I need to take a shower. Get to studying some more. I think it's gonna be okay with the studying stuff. Oh, I gotta clean my room first, and pack up a few more boxes, if I can.

We didn't go see my grandpa. We're going to do that tonight I do believe. *sighs* this house arrest stuff is gonna drive me nuts, but getting out to see my grandpa will be nice. Uhm, he was put into a nursing home yesterday. :'( :'( Because my grandma can't handle him anymore and he needs more assistance. I think we might go see her tonight as well. we'll see, i don'tk now. but yeah...

I think it's going to be okay. Anyway, I can't stay! I have stuff to do!!

you better start living... living right now! mmm, love me some Keith Urban. In fact, I love COWBOYS period. :)

&;the thunder rolls... [Monday

[ mood | apathetic ]
[ music | MYFaVORiTeMiSTaKe: ShErly CrowE ]

Blah. So I have a doctor's appointment set up for the 7th. Oh joys of all joys. I set it up so I can get checked out by my own doctor before some weirdo navy person checks me out and i don't know what they're going to say. I'd rather be safe than fucked, right? right. so I'll take the ASVAB and the physical soon after my appt.

I saw my father today. It was nice. Had dinner with him & marie. (rich included) yeah, that's coool. sheering day is next sunday. and of course, it's a must my brother & I attend. but, not free of charge, we get to work our butts off I guess. I need any sort of distraction from this reality of hell i'm living in.

went by the new house today. tile in bathroom is in. and it's alright. i think for the black'n'white to work we'll hafta put some bamboo stuff in there, but we can cordinate it to work i think. i had an idea this afternoon so i can't forget it. so now with it written down i wont.

uhm, i'm reading two books right now. also thinking of two new tatoos. rae and i are going to add on to the heart tatoo. we're getting "Faith" but in different languages. she is getting cheeroke (sp) and i'm getting german, i think. and i was thinking of getting an itty bitty cross on the inside of my ankle. but i don't know. we'll see. that would hurt like a bitch cause it would be all black but i've got time to think it over. but that's about it for the "information highway"

got my babbling out. feeling a little better. thank god for the net. or i'd totally be dead. anyway, there's thundering clashing into the night, so i think it's time to retire to the comfort of my teddy bears, and the bizarre dreams of holes in the back of my neck and for love of money. oh the world of mary.

welcome to crazyworld.

Don't Worry 'bout it... [Wednesday
June 16th, 3:13am]
[ mood | awake ]
[ music | SheDaisy : Borrowed Home ]

AIN'T IT THE TRUTH!

Ever been misunderstood, misused or misled
Ever knocked on the sky and had it fall
On your head
Well, don't worry 'bout it, don't worry
Ever lost your luggage, your marbles,
your house
Or found yourself in bed with Uncle Sam
or Mickey Mouse
Ever been accused of murder on Music Row
or caught in morning traffic when you
really gotta go - Oh no!

Life is funny, life's a mess
Sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing
Don't worry 'bout a thing, don't worry 'bout it
Life is sticky, life can bruise
Sometimes you win sometimes you're losing
No matter what it brings
Don't worry 'bout a thing

Ever sat yourself down when the
seat is all wet
Or seen your "ex" suckin' face with
a little brunette
Don't worry 'bout it, no don't worry
Ever lost your religion, ever lost your
best friend
Ever found your last record in a bargain bin
Or been stuck in a divorce like grazy glue
Or scraped someone else's gum off the
bottom of your shoe

Life is funny, life's a mess
Sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing
Don't worry 'bout a thing, don't worry 'bout it
Life is sticky, life can bruise
Sometimes you win sometimes you're losing
No matter what it brings
Don't worry 'bout a thing

We all got a little junk in the trunk
And when you're feelin' good as sunk
Remember, everything will be just fine
If I laugh at yours and you laugh at mine

Life is funny, life's a mess
Sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing
Don't worry 'bout a thing, don't worry 'bout it
Life is sticky, life can bruise
Sometimes you win sometimes you're losing
No matter what it brings
Don't worry 'bout a thing
(x2)

Don't worry, don't worry

Life is sticky, life can Bruise
Sometimes you win sometimes you're losing
No matter what it brings
Don't worry 'bout a thing

isn't it the truth? Anyway, I got a few new CDs and found this song to just hit the spot. It spoke to me, because of all that I'm stressing about & it just came out & said to not even worry about it. Don'tcha just love the way music has a way of doing that? I really adore this new CD of mine. Mmm Hmm...

Well, thnx. :)

update [Tuesday
June 8th, 11:30pm]
[ mood | mellow ]
[ music | the damn hamster, i swears mesa gonna killz it! ]

So, I'm going to go talk to a tutor @ RRCC about the math section of the ASVAB then I'mma give my recruiter a call and set up my next testing. But, I bring this up because Gene is down in Texas @ an AFB (not lackland) but he's there for some tech stuff (cheif something or other, remember it's late) and he called & said he was thinking of me. His daughter (i've basically been adopted into their family) going off to the air force, and hoping i'd make it. how it reminded him of Shawn and when he went. How he thinks of me when he sees all the new guys walking around, and it made my day. I am not sure how I can really explain it. He's worried because I do have a mouth on me, and he sees it quite often, and is afraid it will get the better of me when i'm in basic, but i don't know... sometimes it doesn't. if i am not alone, and in the comfort of my own bubble it's a bit different but maybe he's right. maybe, i've got a tough road ahead of me... guess we can only wait to see what happens, until then... I'll have to learn to watch my mouth! ;)

on to another update!! in l_u!

[Tuesday
June 8th, 4:06pm]
[ mood | content ]

My dearest son, it’s almost June
I hope this letter catches up with you, and finds you well
It’s been dry but they’re calling for rain
And everything’s the same ole same in Johnsonville
Your stubborn old daddy ain’t said too much
But I’m sure you know he sends his love
And she goes on
In a letter from home.

I hold it up and show my buddies
like we ain’t scared and our boots ain’t muddy
And they all laugh like there’s something funny ‘bout the way I talk
When I say “mama sends her best, y’all.”
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me driving on
Waiting on
Letters from home.

My dearest love, it’s almost dawn
I’ve been lying here all night long
Wondering where you might be
I saw your mama and I showed her the ring.
Man on a television said something, so I couldn’t sleep
But I’ll be all right, I’m just missing you
And this is me kissing you
X’s and O’s.
In a letter from home

I hold it up and show my buddies
like we ain’t scared and our boots ain’t muddy
And they all laugh ‘cause she calls me “honey”
But they take it hard ‘cause I don’t read the good parts.
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me driving on
Waiting on
Letters from home

Dear son daughter, I know I ain’t written
But sittin' here tonight alone in the kitchen it occurs to me
I might not have said it so I’ll say it now
Son Daughter, you make me proud.

I hold it up and show my buddies
like we ain’t scared and our boots ain’t muddy
But no one laughs ‘cause there ain’t nothing funny when a solder cries
And I just wipe my eyes.
I fold it up and put it in my shirt
Pick up my gun and get back to work
And it keeps me driving on
Waiting on
Letters from home

that last verse, I've seen several people tear up listening too. From Shawn to my own mother, to my very own dad...
